Parties in the Studio -
It's possible to schedule an “Art Party” for groups of up to 10 people who want to take a class together.

The Dance of Color - an intro to Watercolor
Watercolor is such a beautiful medium, with such unique qualities that it's difficult to achieve watercolor effects with any other medium. In this informative class we'll cover the supplies you need (and what to avoid), and practice some basic techniques. We'll also produce a simple finished work.
2 1/2 hours, for ages 10 and up. $40 includes all materials

A Whisper or a Shout of Color – an Intro to Chalk Pastels
Their brilliant colors can pop right off the paper or they can be used to produce the finest subtleties. Chalk pastels are a uniquely fun medium to explore. In this workshop we’ll experiment with the medium to showcase its properties, and then we’ll produce a finished work of art. The process is fun for all skill levels! |

Embossed Metal What an elegant and unique medium! Metalwork has been done for centuries – an art of enduring beauty. In this easy class, we’ll emboss, deboss, and color a sheet of metal to produce a finished work of art suitable for framing or gift giving. The process is fun for all skill levels. |

Paint, more Paint, and Mixed Media - 4 Sessions
(Cooking up Art in the Studio!)
In this 4 week class, we’ll be studying the unique properties of Watercolor and Acrylic painting, and how to enhance individual works with added media such as pastel and pencil.
The students will have the opportunity to become comfortable with different mediums on both canvas and paper, and the art we produce will be colorful examples of their work! This is a fun class for any skill level.
4 sessions - limited to 5 students.
$175 includes all materials

Discover the delicate beauty of this ancient art form. In this class you'll learn how to use eggshells along with modern materials to produce a finished work of art suitable for hanging or gift giving. The process is fun for all skill levels. |
“Painting” Without Paint In this fun class, we’ll use layers of paper to create a beautiful work of art on canvas. You’ll learn the correct techniques and materials necessary to ensure success with this fun process. Suitable for all skill levels. |

Your imagination is the only limit in this fun 2-day workshop, where we will be constructing animals, either real or made-up. We begin with a sketch to give us a "map," and then will build the armature and cover it with paper mache. The sculpture requires about a week to dry, and then in class 2, we'll paint and embellish.
2 Sessions - for ages 8 and up.
$80 includes all materials

What brushes to use, paint types, how to start, different effects - just some of the subject matter covered in this informative class. You'll walk out confident that you can paint on your own!
2 hours, for ages 12 and up. Class is limited to 10 students.

The Elements of Structure
In this 4 week class, we’ll be studying the proportions of the human figure, beginning with drawing exercises.
We’ll then move into sculpture, building a wire armament which will be the basis for our figure. The exterior surface will be plaster, which we will embellish (clothing, etc.) and paint when it is dry. The finished work is a personality showpiece!
4 sessions - for ages 12 and up.
Class is limited to 5 students. $150 for 4 sessions, includes all materials

Burnin’ it up with some hot tools – and the end result is spectacular, with depth you can’t get from any other medium. In this class we will practice the different effects produced with woodburning tools before producing a final piece which we’ll then color with oil pastels and watercolor.
Ages 12 and above. Class is limited to 4 students. $40 includes all materials. 2 ½ hour class
